HALIFAX (KJIPUKTUK) – The Opening Ceremony of the 2023 North American Indigenous Games, presented by Destination Indigenous, will take place on Sunday, July 16th at 7:30 P.M. at the Scotiabank Centre.

The event kicks off the Games, welcoming and celebrating close to 5,000 Indigenous youth from over 756 Nations who will compete in 16 sports during the Games. This must-see event will feature performances, artists and singers showcasing the host nation of Mi’kma’ki.

Tickets for the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 North American Indigenous Games will go on sale starting on Monday, June, 12, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. Tickets will be available online or by phone through Ticket Atlantic at www.ticketatlantic.com/events/naig
